The Z-Openable Series from Khidkie™ is designed for projects where you require a proper openable (casement) system instead of sliding — better sealing, better locking and a more traditional, solid feel. R40 and R50 together cover a wide range of applications: from standard room windows to large, heavy shutters and French doors.
Z-Openable systems are ideal for rooms that need proper ventilation and tight sealing — bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, home offices and street-facing windows. They’re also a great fit for villas, bungalows and premium apartments where clients prefer the classic “door-like” openable feel with strong hardware.
The R40 system is optimised for regular, everyday openable windows with smart weight control and multiple shutter options. The R40 Z-Openable Series is designed as a complete ecosystem for openable windows. With multiple frame options (single, 2-in-1, 3-in-1), a rich shutter family (51mm, 65mm, 23×50, profile and molding shutters) and matching mullions, clips and DGU shutter options, R40 gives fabricators the flexibility to handle almost any standard residential requirement with one system.
Weight ranges are carefully selected to give the right balance — strong enough to feel solid and premium, but not unnecessarily heavy. Combined with the right hardware, EPDM gaskets and glass selection, R40 can deliver excellent sealing, wind resistance and user comfort for regular-sized openings.
